With Clayful Coaching, a student can…
-explore their beliefs about homework and their abilities
-identify obstacles to completing homework
-develop a personalized homework routine
-receive encouragement and support to stay motivated
Assigning Clayful Coaching to a student who doesn't turn in their homework is easy:
- I'd like you to chat with a Clayful coach to help you figure out why you've been missing your homework. The coach can help you set goals, stay on track, and get your homework done on time. Invite the student to engage in coaching as way to address their homework issues with the following script: I'd like you to chat with a Clayful coach to help you figure out why you've been missing your homework. The coach can help you set goals, stay on track, and get your homework done on time.
- Ensure the student has access to a device and a Clayful account. The student can create an account at: chatwithclayful.com. If consent is required, share this link with a guardian: clayful.co/consent
- Fill out a Clayful Connection Card with the student to set expectations and goals (found in the office) and then share a picture of it (or enter the information manually) with Clayful at https://clayful.co/connection-card
